I see mostly everyone trying to install 4.0.2 and SQL Server Express gets the same error  failed to find dotnetnuke_template.mdf.

I have now spent a good number of evenings trying to work this out, without success however this is where I am - can anyone help.

I too found the dotnetnuke_template.mdf file on google downloaded it and it then through another error - I copied siteurls.condif from config to root and it then allowed me to install. I use the following to install

Install/Install.aspx?mode=Install

Everything looked to be going OK, however when I then went into the portal I had loads of error messages saying missing stoired procedures.  When I looked at the database it was empty. It has no tables.  ie the install failed.

so i removed everything recreated the database copied all the files down again. and this time it didnt like me having the template file present. When I removed it and copied the siteURLs.config file, again it looked like the install was working.  However again no tables were created

One other point - how many places in web.config are we supposed to update. There seems to be two places

<SectionGroup name="dotnetnuke"> and <connectionStrings>  I did both but am wondering if that is cirrect

Please can someone spread some light on this.  BTW - installing 3.0 was easy !
