I add a Web User Control to Admin/Portal and  a row to dnn_Tab table.

The module is a module Hello world.

<%@ Control Language="C#" AutoEventWireup="true" CodeFile="Categoria.ascx.cs" Inherits="DotNetNuke.Modules.Admin.Portal.Categoria" %>

<asp:Label ID="Label1" runat="server" Text="Hello World"></asp:Label>

The module is displayed on the solpartmenu, but does not display anything.

Thanks!

Did you add the appropriate rows to the Module/TabModule/ect tables to indicate the module should load there?

As said, it will change significantly in DNN5 since the admin/host menus will become just like any other pages, where you can add tabs and modules to them, use those modules elsewhere, ect...

Thank you Baatezu

I add rows to dnn_Tabs, dnn_TabPermission, dnn_DesktopModules, dnn_ModuleDefinitions, dnn_Modules and dnn_TabModules tables but not working.

I do not know if all the rows are appropriate, how can more easily see the error messages occur, because I see no other way to see where the error in this mess of tables.
