I have simple question, Is Godaddy a good choice for hosting a DotNetNuke Portal?

Specifically my need is to have a testing host for my clients where I would need to upload builds of portal I develop.

Your replies would be very helpful for me.

Personally I would say no, because they do not support installation of dotnetnuke into the root of the website.

I agree. here are some other issues I've had with them:

- if you uninstall, it's not clean and could create errors

- I've had massive issues creating parent portals as subdomains and no one has been able to figure out why—in the office, on this forum or otherwise

- they won't allow .bak files, so if you try to move a site built in DNN to GoDaddy, it's virtually impossible.
