I can't find any information in the announcement that rel 2 of the menu is part of the rel 5.

I can't find any source either so I assume its not part of rel 5

Or should we wait for the demo movie for rel 3 of the menu?

Maybe I am too ironic but some info could be fine for the community.

Jan,

if you rightclick file DotNetNuke.WebControls.dll in /bin folder of DNN 5, you get displayed version number "2.0.337.0".

rightclick in DNN 4.9.1 reports version "1.5.3.20116".

Obviously, version 2 of web controls is included, not mentioning it in release notes obviously is an oversight due to the number of changes included.

Sebastian thanks for the answer.

I know that it is there....but I just trying in my way to get some information about the menu and how it works.

I think the core team have forgotten that part a few years now. Maybe not tested this time either.

Obviously is an oversight due to the number of changes. :)

Sebastian, I have read evrything about the menu, tested all I can test.

The documentation is wrong and not accurate. Please do not refer to those old pages and documentation.

I dont blame Jon. He cant write documentation for endusers.  I dont understand how the corporation and the core team can forget a so vital part as the menu.

But if you miss it in the announcement meybee you dont care...
