Hi,

I can't figure how to get the postage-stamp sized page editor (400 x 400 pixels) to size to the available width and more height. Yes, I can press the "maximize editor size" button, but people won't know to look for it - and if they do, they lose the ability to save their changes (unless they figure out to minimize the editor again).

Normally, I would expect to simply to use CSS in my skin - but the HTML source look like the 400 pixels are hardcoded all over the place ? Instead of hardcoding (redundant!) style attributes all over the place, wouldn't it be best practice to rely on number of CSS classes instead so that they can be overridden. I also question why the same width has to be set 4 times - shouldn't width="100%" or even ommitting it be more practical and easier to maintain?

Andy, I completely agree. We will work to make this better in the next release.

I don't know about other versions, but in the module installed with 5.1.1, when you edit a page (as admin) there should be a link at the bottom 'Show custom editor options'.

In that property panel you can set the default width of the wiki editor.  I couldn't get it to use a percentage setting, but you can at least make it default to e.g. 600 instead of 400.

Yes, this is what I do - I customize each Editor depending on where it is used - what toolbar options to show/expanded etc.
