  Hi my jquery code work perfectly at localhost and when youre logged in but not as a guest ..

I use dnn 5.0.0 and tried to add jquery.noConflict() but then nothing works....

What is it that i cant see here?

jQuery(document).ready(function(){ jQuery(".menu2 a").append("<em></em>"); jQuery(".menu2 a").hover(function() { $(this).find("em").animate({opacity: "show", top: "-75"}, "slow"); var hoverText = $(this).attr("totext"); $(this).find("em").text(hoverText); }, function() { $(this).find("em").animate({opacity: "hide", top: "-85"}, "fast"); }); });

JQuery is not loaded by default.  Instead some server code must request jQuery support.  This feature ensures that jQuery is not unnecessarily loaded on a page that does not need it.  Since the controlpanel uses jQuery, it registers the need for jQuery, whereas, when you are not logged in there is no such request.

So, how can you enable jQuery?

1.  Create a simple module to register the jQuery request and place it on the page.  I have a blog post which shows the necessary code to register the request.
2.  Turn on the Widget framework which requires jQuery and will automatically register the jQuery request.
