Again which DNN version did you upgrade from?
Can you see your skins/containers?
Can you reupload the skin and make sure everything is set up correctly?

ComponentFactory.Container is part of the test project included in the source...Maybe wrong package used?

I Alex,sorry if I were not clear. I tried to upgradefrom version 04.05.01 to 5.0.  The site never recover after the upgrade,  and halt's on the above error.  I tried to replace the custom skin with DNN-Blue, which seemed to have no effect. However Ifyou coul dhelp me confirm that this is most probably skin related, I will make another test trying before the upgrade to change skin to DNN default.

Hmm, I used the package "DotNetNuke_05.00.00_Upgrade". I also made some tests with "DotNetNuke_05.00.00_Install" but reached the same result.
I will take a look through the filesand see if I see some oddities.

Well it looks skin related (gut feeling), although I maintain a disclaimer as we are all in new territory here.

Other people might want to jump in here for viewpoints.
