Hi all,

I have an error when I want to add the FriendlyUrlProvider in the DNN 5.0, here is the url of the FriendlyUrlProvider:www.ifinity.com.au/Products/Friendly_Url_Provider_For_DNN/.

I select the Host > Module Definitions, then click the Install Module,  choose the FriendlyUrlProvider.zip, and it gives this prompt:

This package does not have a manifest. Old Skins and Containers do not contain manifests. If this is a legacy Skin or Container Package please check the check box below and reupload the package.
Legacy Skin/Container:

After I click the Next button, it gives this error:

 
Error A critical error has occurred.
Object reference not set to an instance of an object.

 

Any body can help me on this?

Jed, this is not a module that you install via the "Module Definitions" installer.  Open the zip file that you downloaded and there is a file "UrlRewriting Install Instructions.htm" that contains details on how you must install.  Also, the versions on the website do not say that they are compatible with DNN 5 so I would be careful about that.  I would make a copy of your web.config before making the changes indicated in the install instructions just in case you need to revert back.  Always remember... backup, backup, backup.
