Hello all.  I have been happily using DNN for a year now.  Basically I have used it in it's simplest form for several of my friends websites.

I now have a friend who would like to have upon user registration, a page created for the new user.  I already created the page that has the parts he wants.  (a couple text/html parts and a repository part)  It's real easy to copy the page and modify permissions when the new user registers, but my friend would like this part to be automated so that the new user doesn't have to wait for him to do this page copy and permissions setting.

Does anyone know any good extensions to DNN that might accomplish what he wants?  He is willing to pay for the solution if possible.

Also one other question.  Does anyone no of any good profile type extensions.  I looked at the marketplace and I only saw Active Profile.  I would like to know if anyone has used it before I spend 75 dollars on it.

Thanks all, I hope this isn't too much.  I just know this is a great place to come and get some good advice.

ActiveProfile is shortly becomming ActiveSocial, a suite of social networking modules.

Smart-Thinker has a suite of social networking tools, and so does Venexus.

Thanks Joe.  I was just looking at Active Profile and I think it might work very good.  So if I start using Active Profile, will I be out of luck when they change to Active Social, or will they continue to support Active Profile.

I know you might not be able to answer that, but I figured I'd ask.  Thanks Joe for your response.

The nice thing about Active Profile is that you can have a friendly URL pointing to your "profile" page.  Something my friend wanted.
