Are you trying to do this in one of the authentication providers (if so, where?) or somewhere else?

Well that's part of the core and not part of any of the authentication providers and any changes made would mean recompiling the dotnetnuke core code. What you would have to do is find the .ascx that the user management is on and add your custom link on that page with the necessary code on the ascx.vb and then recompile the DotNetNuke project. I don't have any of the core code handy at the moment so I can't tell you exactly which .ascx you need to look at but under DNN 4 I think it was users.ascx.

Hi,

Well I already checked that and have applied linkButton but it appears under the DNN Pager control. I want to place it on the exact location as that of DNN Add New User Button with custom functionality.

What necessary steps required to do that?

I checked the PortalMoudleBase, ActionButton, Skin Classes to see how DNN is creating those buttons. I also have checked the default Container.ascx file which contains <dnn:ActionButton> tag at the bottom. In the Users.ascx, there's an Option Interface region which adding the buttons appearing at the bottom of the container. These button are adding as an arrayList and when you mouse over these button (on window status) you find the dnnACTIONBUTTON$link0, dnnACTIONBUTTON$link1 and so on.

Do I need to make changes in the containers.ascx file or If I do so then by changing the skin of the portal later might effect the functionality added customly?

Is there any other way to get the required functionality?

Thanks
