1. Is it possible to populate the UDT from a XML class document (eg. ASP.NET XML class document object)? If so, which UDT version did it come into?

2. Does UDT have editable cell fields, or option for rows to be editable, and others not? If so, which UDT version did it come into?

3. How can one write a drop event for UDT? I want to drag an item from the DNN_TreeControl into UDT.

No

You can define all fields and specify, who has edit rights. With the next version you can specify more precise, who is able to edit a row (but always entirely)

Please describe more detailed, what you want to do. Please notice, that source of coming UDT 3.3.0 has been completely refactored.
