I am wanting to configure a DNN instance with multiple portals so that each portal would talk to a different AD server and pull users details automatically; the problem I beleive I will face is that, in the past, I have had to configure the 'impersonate' property in the web.config with a domain-specific username and password. If I have multiple portals and multiple domains then obviously I'll have an issue there, I think.

Is what I'm wanting to achieve possible?

Thanks,

Duncan

Hi Duncan

I honestly can't say if it's going to be possible or not as I don't have multiple domains to test against. However, the way the provider is written the server generally has to be part of the domain. I have been sent code that should allow the server to not have to be but I haven't tested/implemented it yet.
