Hi All,

I am working with Dotnetnuke 4.9.0. In dnn.xml.js file on line no 73 I found one function function __dnn_getNodeXml()  which is under if condition. So I want to know if I remove this function from js file will it work fine. Can it create any problem.

In another js file dnn.js line no 158 one function is escapeForEval:function(s)    //needs work...

So can you tell me what is the meaning behind this comment ("//needs work"). Is this function working or not?

Please reply me as soon as possible.

Thanks,
Kaivan Shah

a comment like " needs work" usually means that the code works, but could be more efficient, faster, better readable, nicer looking or any other enhancement. It does not mean it doesnt work.

Can you explain why you want to change the core js files? If you think it is a bug, you can enter it in gemini (support.dotnetnuke.com)
