I was wondering if there is an install guide for DNN 5. I've found this http://dnnsecrets.wordpress.com/2008/07/19/install-dotnetnuke-dnn-5-beta-6-cambrian/ but it doesn't seem to go into too much detail. I've set it up as expressed, but when it comes to running the install scripts I get the following over and over.

undefined....Success
undefined....Success
undefined....Success
undefined....Success

And it appears to be in a loop.

apparently it had tried to run the script previously because the database entries were there, but because it gave me an error I didn't realize it at the time. Created a new database and used that and it installed fine.

I'm having the exact same issue.  During my install it came up with some error about d:/mshome.... or something like that (I was unable to cut and paste because the text box kept refreshing).

so I just blew away everything again and started a new DB.  Waiting to be granted permissions and we'll see.  nonetheless - an infinite loop isn't cool and it doesn't make my hosting provider too happy either.

Anyone else?  Or has there been any more updates lately... I would sure like to see a new install manual - seems like a few things have changed.

DNN is great though - thank you everyone that works on it.

can you give more info on the hosting platform? (windows version, permissions set, .net versions installed etc)
