I would like to assign an attribute States that includes a list of states for values. Then I would like to be able to assign uploads to one or more states. Then I want to use these attribute assignments to filter the downloads that are visible to users, probably by sending in the state in a query string by modifying the url that points to the repository page.

Can anyone give me ideas how to implement this type of setup? Preferrable without modifying the code. I thought that  maybe I could add the attribute drop down to the skin and then use javascript to only show the states that the user has access to? Thanks for any ideas!

I ended up modifing the code to allow me to do this. The attributes is a nice, flexible feature. I just had to figure out how everything was put together and once that happened things like this are easy mods. Thanks again for the great module.
