I am in a web project developed entirly in DotNetNuke and I am being assigned to configure the DNN default UsersOnLine module so that it can track the Members and people on line.

Can anyone help me with this matter of how to configure this module so that I can track the memberships and users online.
(Just like in DotNetNuke Homepage's module)

make sure, "diable users online" option in Host Settings is not enabled and - in DNN 4.9.x : Scheduler Mode must be set to request mode.

I have done exactly that and I still see that when I log in as more than one time to the local machine it tracks as there are more than one people online in total.but I am the only one who logs in to the portal (coz it is in my local machine). Is there any settings I have to be made?

Thanx,
Sumithmoratuwa

Since we don’t allow unauthenticated users to visit the portal it should be 0 all the time. My only doubt is with the admin/host users. Will they be visitors?

AFAIR host will not be displayed, because this is not a portal account.

Which DNN version are you on?
