Chad,

I am having this problem as well. DNN 5.01. I just re-enabled inline editing. That fixed the problem for FF. However it is still broken in IE.

Any updated info on this?

Has anyone gotten to the bottom of this one.

Just moved one of our sites to a new server and upgraded to 5.1.1.

We are seeing the same error:

Webpage error details

Message: 'dnn.controls.toolbars' is null or not an object
Line: 165

Not sure if this is a skin issue or otherwise would really appreciate some help on this one.

When using MinimalExtropy, DNN adds these two JS files to the page

<script src="/js/dnn.controls.js" type="text/javascript"></script>
<script src="/js/dnn.controls.dnnmenu.js" type="text/javascript"></script>

When I switch to the skin my client is using, they are not added to the page and Dynamic forms throws the JS error.

The only obvious difference between the skins is the clients skin uses the Snapsis menu rather than DNNNav.

Do these JS files only get added if using the built in DNN menus? It looks like it.

I've just confirmed this that removing DNNNav from the page, prevents these two JS files being added. Also they don't seem to get added when using Solpart either.
