I use a lot the Spanish- Colombia language pack as it is very complete my problem is that in Colombia they use the currency notation $10.000,00 as in Spain but I need to show this currency order for Mexico: $ 10,000.00.

if anybody can tell me exactly how/where I can modify the way to change how to show the currency I will be very grateful.

I ahve serached in vain in many sources. It is enough to change the locale, I need to change the commas and periods order.

Thank you in advance

Hi there Jose, as it was answered before you'll need a language pack specific for the mexican culture (es-MX) in order to display the currency in that format. There are a bunch of them around the net, some of which you can get for free (though not complete AT ALL) or for less than $30 bucks in sites like snowcovered.

Now, if you are developing your modules aiming to use exclusively the spanish language, youy might as well skip the language pack and just manually add the es-MX locales in Host-->Language Packs in the very first screen I think. A locale alone wont localize text by itself for the admin modules and skin objects, but if you need to you can copy the US language pack to use as a base and localize the text on a need to use basis. Or better yet, you can use a script to rename all the resources from your existing colombian language pack so that they match the mexican locale and reuse it accordingly. Please check http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Products/Development/Forge/ModuleReports/tabid/970/EntryId/55/DotNetNuke-Language-Pack-Creation-2.aspx for instructions in how you can accomplish this.

Hoe this helps, Cheers!
