Not sure if this is possible yet but I'm Trying

I have 3 copy's of 1 UDT the first Copy is for Submitting New Ideas by the end users where I have a field dropdown named status with the values ("NEW",  that defaults to "NEW"

the secound UDT Copy is for the Review Team It only shows Records at the status of New (that part is done) However I need to make the dropdown for status only allow them to change it to "Review Complete"

the third UDT Copy is for the Release Team, It only shows Records at the status of Review Complete and They need to be able to only change the status to Closed.

Is this possible with permissions checking in the XSL, I don't think it is because when you edit a record you can not control which fields are editable but just incase I'm missing something let me know.

Ok thats what I figured but I got 2 more questions

1. Would it be possible to have a dropdown field that has a validation rule that validates agains the tab,user role or previous value

Example (if ([Tab:Title]=NewRequest) Status=New) I'm Guessing this is a big NO but its worth a try.

If not I guess I'm down to building my own Module.

2. Do you have any Estimated release or bata date for form & list?
