Which version should I update to for a family website?  I am not sure which version I have now.  How do I check?

you may read the version of your DNN from Host :: Host Settings or get the version by right click on /bin/dotnetnuke.dll

suggested upgrade version is in ANY case DNN 4.9.1

Thanks... I am version 4.08.00.  Is it an easy upgrade?  Is the new Gallery project geared for 5.00.00?  That is the module I am waiting on.

new Gallery version is targeting and going to be tested in DNN 4.9.x (but shall run in DNN 5 w/o issues as well).

To upgrade your DNN 4.8.0 to 4.9.1, use upgrate package, unzip overwriting the existing files and browse your site. the upgrade wizard will show up and perform database upgrades automatically. Done.

Wow - we are no longer required to edit the web.config in order to upgrade?
