Can someone please help me with the syntax to make my DNN Menu be vertical instead of horizontal?

From the pdf help file I think it goes something like this:

/*

Put in ASCX file with rest of the menu stuff like runat="server" etc etc:

ControlOrientation="main_dnnmenu_rendering"

Then set up my CSS something like:

.main_dnnmenu_rendering {

     ?????: vertical;

}

*/

Please don't be too hard on me if I'm way off. This is my first time using the DNN Menu instead of Solpart LOL!
