Hi, I have a portal alias error. I did a search and did discover a solution. Unfortunately, I'm not sure how to do the fix. Here's what one very smart person posted about the portal aliases fix.

  • Portal Aliases Module Issue
    1. Problem: The Portal Aliases module on the Site Settings page was showing an error and the module couldn't be displayed.
    2. Solution:  Edit the Module Definitions and delete the Edit control, and Modify the location of the View control. The View control should now point to DesktopModules/Admin/Portals/SiteSettings.ascx.
  • Can someone please give us click by click instructions how to resolve this issue?
  • Thanks!

Ya, now you tell us! :(

Lots of little bugs in the "not quite ready for prime time" prime time release.

Alex, you must have that in your clipboard, then paste, paste, paste ... but its good advice :)

ps For the original poster, to change the module controls, use the Host - Module definitions page.

Thanks for the advice. But DNN 5 is already installed. No going back.
