Im having trouble with 3 colum layouts that have some fluidity and after some containers are added to the page

<

div class="Content_Containers">

<div class="leftpane">

<div class="leftpane-menu">

<dnn:MENU runat="server" id="dnnMENU" menualignment="left" separatecss="true"

display="vertical"

userootbreadcrumbarrow="false"

usesubmenubreadcrumbarrow="false"

menueffectsmenutransition="AlphaFade"

menueffectsmenutransitionlength="10"

menueffectsshadowstrength="1"

menueffectsmouseoverdisplay="none"

rootmenuitemcssclass="MainMenu_Idle"

rootmenuitemactivecssclass="MainMenu_Active"

rootmenuitemselectedcssclass="MainMenu_Selected"

rootmenuitembreadcrumbcssclass="MainMenu_BreadcrumbActive"

rootmenuitemlefthtml="&nbsp;"

rootmenuitemrighthtml="&nbsp;"

/>

</div>

<div class="menubottom" id="MenuBottom" runat="server" valign="top" align="center"></div>

</div>

<div class="contentpane" id="ContentPane" runat="server" valign="top" align="center"></div>

</

<div class="rightpane" id="RightPane" runat="server" valign="top" align="center"></div> <div class="bottompane" id="BottomPane" runat="server" valign="top" align="center"></div>div>

All are using similar CSS styling

float:left;position:relative;max-width:600px;min-width:200px;background-color: transparent;padding-left: 0px;padding-right: 0px;padding-top: 0px;margin-top:10px;margin-left:10px;

 What happens is the third column "RightPane" drops below the content pane  any.  The also happens when I have a fixed layout and a container is added to the pane.  The Pane either drops below or batwings out from the page layout.

Any ideas on how the do this using div's not tables where the layout stays under control.

thanks
