It does not have a http I used the static ip of the machine. I'm not really sure how to access from a client even with the default address. I access it from the server the server as localhost/dotnetnuke5/default.aspx which works but I've tried many combination from ip address to computer name and cannot find the sight. If you can help me from the begining I would appreciate it.

you should be able to replace localhost with your computer name or ip address. you may have windows firewall on that will need to be turned off or configured. You may have a network firewall that may need to be configured.

normally localhost runs on a default port that your ip and computer name will run under when using http://computername or http://100.100.100.100 so unless you have changed some port numbers in IIS you should be ok there. also your internal network ip can be different then your external ip (on the internet) so make sure you use your internal one. you can get it by runing a cmd prompt and typing ipconfig /all
