Upgraded from DNN 4.0.2-> 4.9.1, Using Blog 3.50, I am unable to click through "Read More" to see the full blocg entry and am also unable to add comments.

I am not getting any error messages or log entries to indicate there is a problem.

Hi Tim,

this looks to me like a HTML 301 redirect issue. Do you have Friendly URLs enabled? Do you use a 3rd party module to handle friendly URLs?

I am not aware of any 3rd party module for friendly URLs.

 

I have found that if the blog author "Edits"/"Updates" the entry, then other users are able to click through "See More" and add comments.

 

Behavior is erratic and inconsistent.

Hi Tim,

thank you for the info. This points me out that the issue may be related to the content itself, that is not correctly truncated by the automatic summary procedure. This is quite strange, since this procedure had been improved much in the last version. Could you send me a link where the issue is visible? The problems seems to have resolved itself for now.  The only things that have happened since is a new entry from a test account, a comment on it, then deleting it. There is no summary section to the blog entry now that used to kick me out to the login screen.
