Hi, I am a beginner with DNN and have setup my first web site. As I add modules to the various panes, there is way too much padding/space between the modules in adjacent panes. Also, when a pane is not used all of the modules to the right shift to the left. How do I adjust this? I have viewed the Skinning.doc but it was not clear how to make changes to prevent this behavior.  I also searched this forum to no avail.

Thank you!

You need to do some changes to the skin files. You could find some free skins - including on my site to check out how the skins are done.

Generally if there is no content in a pane, it will collaps to zero. You could change it in skin or you could just put a text module in the left pane with no braking space to stop it to collaps.

Padding is normally in the containers. by creating a container with no padding or deleting the container in page setting of the module you are adding to the page. that will be fixed too
