Has anyone had much experience utilizing the vendor/banner system and customizing some of its elements they could share?

I'm currently trying to accomplish 3 things and am stuck on progress.

a. Where can you find the client side rendered html for the banner module/skin object? I'd like to remove that unnecessary table that it's in at the source but had no luck finding it as of yet.

b. /Admin/Vendors/BannerClickThrough.aspx - How can I change the name of this file and its reference throughout the core? Is it just me or does seeing something like "BannerClickThrough" in a link turn a visitor away from clicking it even if it is an add? I just want to mask my affiliate ID's at the source level with more transparency.

c. add title= and rel=nofollow to the anchor tags.

Any ideas? Any insight is more than welcome, cheers!

The banner is part of the source of Dotnetnuke.   Therefore you need to download the source version of Dotnetnuke. I have modified the banners before, but not in the way you are discussing, but in other ways.   It worked out real nicely.

I think there has been a small code change in 5.0.1, so I would recommend waiting for that.
If you've got some code to contribute after your efforts no-pro it would be much appreciated (support.dotnetnuke.com).

Thanks....
