Hi, I know that I have posed this question before I am just starting to think that I posted in the wrong place, I did however get some assistance there.

I am trying to make a menu that is a multi-level menu, in other words it has 2 levels, each of the levels need a different set of styles that it will use. An example of the menu I am trying to create can be found on http://www.oerafrica.org.

I have downloaded the Skinning guide that is in the resources page done by Shaun Walker only thing is that the document does not go into any real detail about the menu, so I am hoping that someone here has some indepth knowledge about the menu.

If anyone can help point me in the right direction as to what I am trying to do I would greatly appreciate this. I have tried setting the ForceDownLevel property to true, then I tried 1, then I tried 2. When I do this all the other items I have put on the menu, other than home seem to dissapear. I am still waiting for the books I have ordered but I am truely stuck here.

Thanks again, I will reply timeously to anyone that does post here

It should be possible with the DNN Menu (don't use solpart) but it's not easy. If you are comfortable with CCS you might try one of the exisitng UL menus like Housemenu or Snapsis navmenu

Hey, thanks for the info.

I actually found another post eventually where there was a guy asking about putting 2 menus in that are unique, more or less what I was looking for. Well the actual solution that was discussed there was basically puttting in 2 menus, only forcing one to be root level and the other one to be child. Although there are some disadvantages to using this, there are also some advantages too.

Now all I need to do is figure out what all the possible levels are called so that I can use them to do what I want to do..

Thanks for the input.
