Hello all dnn community.

Just i have update DNN in 5 version. But i have a problem with openid authedication.

The message that displayed is :

A critical error has occurred.
Could not load the assembly 'DotNetNuke.Authentication.OpenID'. Make sure that it is compiled before accessing the page.

and as result i have not see (access) to my forum that is creative by DNN forum module.

You can copy DotNetNuke.Authentication.OpenID.dll and DotNetOpenId.dll from \bin\Providers to \bin folder solve this problem.

 

This is seems like a bug when you do fresh install even you select the openid provider but the assembly doesn't get copy to bin folder

Well I'd almost agree with you except the providers are supposed to be in the bin/Providers directory. That's where they've always been.
