I have several custom fields for my user registration that use the FCKeditor.  If I have ajax turned on for the site the text in these fields is not saved.  If I turn ajax off the text does save, but I really need to keep it on.  I have read several posts indirectly related to this but I have not been able to solve the problem.

Can someone tell me how to make these fields work properly with ajax turned on?  I am using dnn 4.8.  I did read somewhere that if the text editor loads in 'Basic' mode that the problem does not occur, but I can't figure out how to get the text editor controls on the registration page to load in 'Basic' mode.

Can anyone offer some suggestions?

There were some problems with the profile system and FCK in DNN because of a few bugs found in the profile system. Those were reported in these forums time ago. I will suggest to upgrade your dnn.
