Hi,

We are getting Critical Error when we try to add Link in FCK Editor (HTML/Text). Its raising exception after hitting Browse Server Button. The following is the event was trapped in DNN. Please help me to fix this issue. Is it fine to re-install FCK Editor after uninstalling? I am worried of any impacts due to uninstall. Please advice.

I had the same problem with DNN 5.0 and Fck 2.0.2. Installing Fck 2.0.3 solved the problem.

You can get the zipped install files in the download section.

Tip: follow the instructions of the Install.txt in the zip-file line by line ! The new dll has to be in the folder \bin while the old one was in \bin\Providers (I removed the old one, no idea if that is necessary)

From what I just read, it seems to be enough to just move the file

\bin\Providers\DotNetNuke.FckHtmlEditorProvider.dll

to \bin\

Good luck !
