Hi,

We are currently creating modules for DNN 5.0. When we looked at some other modules created, they were able to automatically include their item as a submenu in admin/host menu. How do we that? Are there tutorials available regarding that?

Thanks,

Reynen

I would think you just need to write the SQL statement.  In the SQL statement, create the tab for your module. Then assign the tabid under the tabid of admin menu. Does this make sense?

The shortest way is to find the 3rd party module that has a menu under admin (e.g. PageBlaster from Snapsis software) and take a look at the SQL statement of the module.

Yeah, that's what I actually did, I wrote SQL statements. But what I wish to do is do it automatically during the installation of the whole module so when the installation is done, its already in the submenu. I looked for modules who appears under the admin/host menus but, as expected, given that they we're trial versions, I wasn't able to know how they implemented it.

I hope you guys can help me out...

Thanks!
