Dear Albas,

the Forum module is a official DotNetNuke Module, which will not released with issues that will brocken running Forums. If you are feel you could not running the released version, you could use one of other Forum Module from a 3rd parity vendor.  Pass the Release Tracker testing meen not that the Module have no issues, but it can only passed without showstoppers.

Some thinks need it's time.  All doing it work as voluntary, and give his best do come to a new release.   All existing issues didn't make the Forum unusable, and we had helped to come to a first solution on all posts in this Forum.

As a user you didn't see how much lines on code the Forum have, it is realy one of the biggest project on DotNetNuke.

Sounds good. Is the revision almost complete? When will it be back in the tracker?

Dear Matthias,

Thanks for taking the time to answer this post. I really understant the DNN intentions, however, something need a litle push in a slighly diferent direction. This module is pretty important, and now is stuck because there are many changes, many bugs, so many things to take care before the release. Sometime you need to take 'baby steps', but this module forgot to walk for a long time, and now need to have a "quantum leap", obvios, it is too hard...(and might fail)

I have been arround DNN since 2003 (june)... so, soon will be 6 year doing something for DNN.  I'd like to add that I offered many times (many) my intentio to help the DNN forums team... never ever was accepted (dot not worry, I will not offer again my time)... looks like the FORUM team is a very very very close group.

So I hope to hear good news soon

CU
