Is that possible to upload a theme for a the events module?
I mean a theme not a container.
I'm asking because I dont have access to the installation files and don't want to use a container cause it wouldn't be available in the module settings dropdown.
The only workaround seems to be a source (re)installation of the events module. Is it?

In version 4.0.2 you need to upload these into the desktopmodules/events directory tree, for which you will need to have host access. In 4.1.0 you will be able to upload to the portal root, so you will only need admin access.

Do you mean through FileManager or ftp?

Because apparently I can't reach the desktopmodules/events through FileManager module not even on my local installation with host role.

In 4.0.2 you either have to put the them in the place in the PA pack of the Events module and (re)install the module, or you must have access to the Desktopmodules folder.

In Events 4.1.1 (the next release) FTP or direct access to the Desktopmodules is not needed. In this upcoming version, you can use the normal Admin/Filemanager and put a theme as subfolder in a predefined folder (DNNEvents\Themes). The name of such a subfolder will be the name a theme for the Events module.

Just had a look because I thought you could use FileManager, but you can't. So you can ftp it up. Other than that you can add to the PA, and then  re-install the module. I peronally think the simplest method is to ftp it.
