Hi,

I see a strange behaviour of "default folder" field in my dotnetnuke installation (DNN4.9.1 and Documents 4.01.00).

I select a folder in my portal as "default folder" of documents module, I set the correct user permission (read and write) and save everything.

I log as the user, and try to add a new document. The field marked as "link" point to the root of the portals instead of the "default folder" !!

I am able to select the folder marked as "default folder" and upload file to it.

Any idea ?

Thank you

Angelo

Hello Angelo,
Please take a look at this forum thread:

http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Community/Forums/tabid/795/forumid/18/threadid/242086/scope/posts/Default.aspx

If the above thread doesn't help, please reply.  In the meantime, I'll keep investigating the issue.  There have been a few posts regarding this topic, and I would suggest adding an issue to the Gemini tracker.

Hello Scott,

I know that post and it was of no use. I have tried also to give everyone the permission of viewing the folder, but again it was of no use.

In Gemini there is not a topic like this.

I'll wait for your reply, otherwise tomorrow morning i will rise an issue in Gemini.

Thank you again

Angelo
