Thanks for your reply Mike!!!

I gave the same rights to my new user as of ASPNET has on two directories. But i think may be i have problem with the connection string. When i am trying with my ccount its working fine because it is already a member of SQL database login ( security role ). But my new account isnt.  So i am confused do i need to include this account in SQL security section or not.

Again Me..

Sorry i know may be i am asking stupid questions actually i am new to dotnetNuke as well as in field of web. Mike my module is configured very well. Because it is giving me this message.

Success Accessing Global Catalog:
OK
Checking Root Domain:
OK
Accessing LDAP:
OK
Find all domains in network:
1 Domain(s):

Now in theory if i will open my dotnetnuke portal http://localhost/dnn i should be automatically log in into the portal. which is not the case. could you please tell me if i am doing something wrong.

As far as the SQL connection goes..... it shouldn't make a difference but I can't guarantee that. I've always connected to the database using a SQL login rather than using a Windows Authentication login.

Why it may not be automatically connecting you could be because the current cookie hasn't expired. If you go to htto://<yoursite>/desktopmodules/authenticationservices/activedirectory/windowssignin.aspx does it log you in? If yes then close your browser and clear your cookies and cache. Then try launching the site to see if it logs you in.
