Hi,

I'm using a skin that's not displaying the action links on the containers when I log as superuser. I have to change the container skin to dnn's original if i wanna make some specific changes. Has anyone been experiencing this? or know how to fix it?

Thanx.

Hello there,

Does it only happens when you login as a super user or also as a user with administration roles? I believe that you're experiencing this because the container you were using does not include the action button controls in the container's ascx file. You can check this by opening this container and looking out for the Action button tags somewhere in the file. If you find that these tags are missing, then you will need to include them manually in the file so that they can be rendered in dnn.

Basically you have to look for this on the first lines of the file:

<%@ Register TagPrefix="dnn" TagName="ACTIONBUTTON1" Src="~/Admin/Containers/ActionButton.ascx" %>

and something like this somewhere in the file:

<dnn:ACTIONBUTTON1 runat="server" ID="dnnACTIONBUTTON1" CommandName="AddContent.Action" DisplayIcon="True" DisplayLink="True" />

I'd suggest you check also the Make it Hot! forums for more guidelines and what else to check when dealing with containers. Cheers!
