I added a page to a DNN 4.9 installation to list and view videos (using a commercial video module). Everything worked fine until recently. Now when users click the "Video" tab - nothing is displayed, the browser progress bar slowly increments and eventually you get a generic "cannot display page message" from the browser.

The odd thing is that I CAN see and navigate to the page as a user with page edit rights (i.e. Host Admin, etc.). Logged in on these accounts and while in page edit mode the page comes up and works perfectly. However, if I change the page view mode to "View" from "Edit" in the page control panel - the page exhibits the same non-display/timeout behavior that regular users see.

If anyone has any insight into what migh cause this behavior, I would love to hear from you. I am relatively new to building DNN sites so don't rule out newbie mistakes on my part as the cause.

Thank you.

I think I figured this one out (because I got my Video Gallery page back up).

I viewed my DNN Event Viewer from the Admin Account and noticed I was getting a Page Load Exception with details indicating "Length cannot be less than zero" error.

I checked all of the setting in each of the Video modules to see if a setting was left blank that might cause this (but found nothing).

I then went to Manage Videos and checked the settings for each and every video in the library. I found one video that did not have a check next to any category - I checked the appropriate categories - and magically, my video gallery page began working again.

So, it looks like a component/module error that did not have a robust enough null check or warning.
