My Links 2.0 DotNetNuke Module by OnyakTech

MyLinks takes DotNetNuke farther then just a CMS system by giving you dynamic content based on the user. With MyLinks, your users can create their own list of links to be displayed when they visit your site. The only links they see are the ones they added. This is a great tool for those...

  • building a community web site
  • offering memberships
  • administrating company intranets
  • and more...

New Features:

  • Dynamically Add Links From Any Page: Offer your users a way to easily add new links from any page by passing in MyLinksTitle and MyLinksURL Query-String Parameters
  • Share Links With Other Users:  Optionally allow users to share their links with another user on your site
  • Display Another Users Links:  Using the Query String parameters ShowUserIDLinks and ShowUserNameLinks, you can dynamically display any users links.
  • Limit the number of links displayed at one time
  • Paging added to support countless links
  • New option to control if the links are opened in a new window or the current window

Features:

  • Users have full control to add and remove links
  • Source Code Available
  • Opens links in a New Window
  • Easy to use with strong validation
  • Easy to install. Just drop it on a page and give your users Edit Access.

Can user add links that are external to the website?

Hi Chris

When you say this: "Dynamically Add Links From Any Page", do you mean that the user can save any page within the DNN site?   If so this is what I have been looking for.

I want users to be able to click on a bookmark icon on any page on our site and be able to store those pages in a list that can be recalled at any time (and edits made to the list)

Thanks

Sorry I didn't respond sooner, I didn't get an email notification of your post.   You can add links to any site (internal and external).

Yes, that is exactly what the My Links module does.  You just need to pass the URL in the link to have it added to the users list of links visible on the page you have the My Links module available on.
