Hi Scot,

feel free to send them to me at dario.rossa at dotnetnuke-italia.it. We should also check if the ViewEntry.ascx (and other Blog controls as well) control got upgraded during the install.

Best regards,
Dario Rossa

As an update for anyone else having this problem and is following along to this thread....

One of the skins I'm using did have some <%= SKINPATH %> tags referencing image paths in the skin and container ascx files. However, replacing those with explicit paths to the referenced images had no effect and the error occurs as soon as I turn on user comments. Also, the skin I'm using on a different portal that has the same problem has no image tags at all (basic HTML tables) and thus has no <%= %> tags. Therefore, I don't think this is the cause of the errors.

FYI,

Scot.

Are there any other ideas on this?

If User comments are turned on entries do not display clicking on the date in the archive calendar shows the entries, if user comments are turned off entries are displayed, if user comments are turned back on entries are displayed but new entries are not (using standard skins, v4.9.1 install upgraded to 4.9.2

This is still a problem....

If there is no fix, what is the next best option? Do I need to blow away the install and recreate and hope the problem is resolved? Should I try uninstalling and reinstalling the blog module and, if so, is there a way to do that while still retianing the posts to-date?
