Hi:

I am new to the BLOGGING world.  I installed 3.5.1 and set it up with the social tags.

How do I get my postings to the social networks?

Where do I put categories on my blog for RSS to pick-up my psoting?

I'm sorry if these are really dumb questions - I think I am missing a LARGE piece of what to do.

Thanks in advance for assistance,

Judy

Hi Judy,

don't worry about being a newbie: we all started like that. Social bookmarks are intended as "bookmarks": your visitors click on the icons to add them to their preferred social network. If you want to notify other services about your new posts, you'll need to register on their websites and perform a manual ping, since automated pings are not yet featured by this module. WLW however has this feature when publishing your entries.

RSS categories can be added using child blogs: you can create them into Blog Settings. Entries filed under child blogs are syndicated as filed under a category that has the child blog's name.

Let me know if you need further help.

Bast regards,
Dario Rossa
