Hello All,

I'm sorry - I am a real NEWBIE here and I've lost almost all my hair the past day or so.  I'm one that always keeps trying until I get it, but I have to admit defeat..

I'm just trying to get a basic install of DNN 5.0 using SQL Server Express 2008 and I am unfortunately having ZERO luck.  I searched the forums and have found some good links but "some pieces" are still not clear.  I've used the folling link but yet a couple of steps are still missing e.g., http://www.adefwebserver.com/DotNetNukeHELP/DNN4_DevelopmentEnvironment/DNNDevelopmentWindowsVista.htm .

I'm using the web.config that came with the download (and I've tried a couple of modifications). Can anyone point me in the right direction?  The error message I get is in my feeling, "pretty generic" it is:

HTTP Error 500.19 - Internal Server Error

The requested page cannot be accessed because the related configuration data for the page is invalid.

 ANY assistance is GREATLY appreciated!!!!!

Gary
