Hi,

When using the announcemnet module I get a message telling me that it has not been installed properly
and that I should paste the following code into the web config file

<system.web>
<httpHandlers>
<add verb="GET"
path="FtbWebResource.axd"
type="FreeTextBoxControls.AssemblyResourceHandler, FreeTextBox" />
</httpHandlers>
</system.web>
When I did that it caused a server error....

Any suggestions? How do you uninstall a module so that I can try reinstalling?

Cheers!

Click host/Module Definitions, click the module and then click delete.

I don't believe that is the problem. I believe it could be related to the skin you are using. Do you have a non DNN skin on there? There were issues with the latest build of FTB and css spacing that caused an error to look lik this - it only happens with modules using the ftb editor.

Visit http://www.webstone.com and see if there isn't a Free Text Box editor patch/update.

I thought this had been rectified.

This is just a suggestion, but I've seen it before.
