I have written a custome module and when I load the module DNN says the module has loaded successfully, but when I attempt to place the module on the page nothing happens. No errors are in the event log, no exceptions thrown and the Event Log says the module was created.

Any help would be appreciated.

BTW: The module contains ASP Grid control

in Host :: Module Definitions check, if the Controls are registered properly for your Module Definition, one of the controls need an empty key to be the default control.

In file system check, that the .dll is properly in bin or the classes are placed inside /app_code folder - or a subfolder of app_code, which is registered in your web.config file.

thanks,

the issue was that all of the controls had the key set.... specifically the "View" control was set.
