Hi,

I keep getting the following error when i attempt to install some modules: (Events Calendar, Events etc). Can anyone give me a clue as to what is happening here?

I'm receiving the same type of error on a DNN5 module install.

I think my error is related to a database change, I moved the database to a new server. Everything else is working fine, however. Any ideas?

As a guess please check to see if you object qualifier is the same in web.config. Check also your file permissions are correct.

Hi thanks for the comment.

I checked web.config and DNN_ is set as object qualifier. Permissions have been set by host as ASP and dbo. Everything is working. But each time I update a module I continue to get this error. Because I use Active Forums I do not have DNN_forums installed. I have tired uninstalling and reinstalling DNN forums and no change.

THe additional error I get occassionally is

Failure Exception - Could not find a part of the path 'C:\Inetpub\vhosts\normanhurstunitingchurch.org.au\httpdocs\DNN4\DesktopModules\NTForums\Resources.zip.manifest'.

Even with these errors the modules seem to work OK.

The trouble is I'm not sure if the whole thing is about too collaspe.

Paul

Hi PC,

Alex Shirley is right, you will need to check if the object qualifier is the same as the one in web.config. You need to add those module directory names that you were trying to install (Events Calendar, Events etc) to the "CodeSubDirectories" section in the web.config.
