I don't think you can out of the box with DNN. I'm pretty sure you'd have to do a custom module to do that.

I bought DNN Masters Membership Manager Pro and after a lot of hand holding and good support from the Developer got it to import my users.

But, I could never get the email to send, the developer support tried to help but to no avail.  So now I have 600 registered users with no way to get them their Username and password which I setup during the import for them.  They came across from another portal where they had registered which is now gone.

you should be able to use the Newsletter module in Admin module to contact the users and send out their user names by enabling "replace tokens" and including:

"your username is [user:username]

To get your password, please click "login", "forgot password" and enter the username. you will get your password in a separate email for security reasons"...
