Hello

I have designed a skin which requires the logo to be directly aligned to the top of the browser in a table, with no borders. But what ever I do there is always a thin white line along the top and sides, and this ruins the design.

I have removed all cell padding and im not sure what else could be causing this. i have tryed putting the logo in as a normal image and there are no white boarders. Any Ideas why this is only happening when it is uploaded as a logo?

thanks for your time

What format is the logo in (.jpg, .gif, etc)? You might have better luck if it's a .png file though it won't look right in IE 6.

Unfortunately changing it to png dosent help

Please see here: www.gw-webdesign.co.uk/bardoc

Its only a basic shel but you can see what I mean by a white boarder around the logo. There is cell padding on the bottom but this is needed, top left and right dont have any padding.

Okay, at first I thought you were nuts and then I realized that the whole header was an image. I'd almost build that into your template rather than uploading through the DNN interface. I don't know if that'll make a difference or not and I'll defer to those with more knowledge than me about skinning.

I think that your problem is in this line:

< TD id="dnn_ControlPanel" class="contentpane" valign="top" align="center" >< /TD >
The contentpane class is specified as padding-top:6px high in skin.css. If you set the padding-top to 0px this will go away.
There is another oddity in that your site loads two copies of skin.css.
