Hi All,

 

I am having trouble setting up DotNetNuke on Windows 2003 server and SQL 2005 database.Please if you can give me a detailed guide interms of the steps i had to follow to install it.

 

Please advice

Without knowing the nature of the trouble, it's hard to give specific advice.

Still, take a look at Mitchel Sellers' Blog for some really good upgrade/install instructions.

HI Craig,

Thanks for you response.Its Much appreciated.Here is my problem. When i try to access www.xxxxx.com/DotnetNuke i Get the following Error on 2003 server ,IIS6 and sql 2005 database.

Upgrading DotNetNuke

Current Assembly Version: 04.09.00

Current Database Version: 04.09.01

 

Upgrade Status Report

00:00:00.015 - Upgrading to Version: 4.9.0
00:00:00.015 - Performing General Upgrades

Upgrade Complete

 

Click Here To Access Your Portal

 

When i click on to Access Your portal as a next link it just goes back to the same page.It does not do anything.

Please what could be the problem?
