Hello,

I have a problem. I want to remove the Login link in my skin. But i need to keep the logoff link after I login. Does anybody know how i should do that?

this will require a custom Skin object.

Here's a hack that works:

< dnn:LOGIN runat="server" Text=" " / >

It appends an link tag, which some browsers process (Chrome, Safari) and others do not (FF, IE).  Either way, the link does not appear and nobody would see it, unless they were to inspect the code.

I did that. i had:

<dnn:LOGIN runat="server" ID="RegisterDNN" CssClass="userLoginLink" Text="" LogoffText="Uitloggen" />

And the text is gone, but the <a> tag is still there.

you can see the link is gone, but the the space is still there.

Browse over to snapsis.com and look at the DotNetNuke support forum.  Search for a thread that refers to putting "conditional content" in your skin.

Basically, you'll see how to wrap a conditional around the LOGIN and/or USER skinobjects, causing them to display only when someone is logged in.
