Dear friends

I have set up a DNN portal on a hosting provider without having a domain name. When I got my domain name the only thing I could do is to point the domain with the dnn portal and the temporary nam that I was given. Is there a way through my coding to get rid of their name and on the url section have only my domain to appear ?

I tried to use aliases but with no succss, their temporary http:...... keeps appearing. Their support team told me

you will either need to manually change the links or manually reinstall DotNetNuke and specify your domain name as the installation path. So, to reiterate the reason your http://username.XXXXXXX.com path displays has nothing to do with it being on the account, but the fact that that is the way your website is coded to display it.

Any suggestions ??
